We are looking for a Manager, Media Analytics Services Group to:

• Lead a team of search media analysts to provide actionable insights to MSN Premium clients
• Provide leadership in developing and implementing optimization techniques around keyword selection, copy testing, bid management, and targeting
• Build strong service relationships with clients and internal partners to maximize client satisfaction and revenue.

Core responsibilities:

Lead a Team

• Manage and motivate a team of at least 8 direct reports
• Align individual goals and organizational goals
• Provide feedback and coaching regularly to employees
• Develop experts in search engine marketing
• Monitor quality and productivity of team’s work weekly and proactively address improvement areas

Build and Refine Best SEM (Search Engine Marketing) Practices

• Develop and refine best practices, including analysis, optimization, reporting, and client communication
• Review and influence process, product, or tool changes that impact performance
• Earn trust with and build relationships across internal teams to drive efficiencies
• Lead or supervise virtual teams assigned to completion of group initiatives

Delight Clients

• Understand clients’ major objectives
• Execute to meet/exceed those objectives
• Effectively communicate results internally and externally
• Drive resolution of escalated customer issues
• Define and manage service and support levels for premium brand customers
• Limited travel to sales or client offices may be required

Drive Revenue

• Work with team members to set, track, and meet individual revenue targets
• Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets for team client portfolio
• Manage and forecast team resources to maximize efficiency

Education and experience:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• MBA or equivalent preferred but not required

Work Experience

• 3+ years in account management/ client service role within online marketing, at least 2 of which should include paid search experience at major search engine, online agency, or online marketer
• 3+ years servicing or managing large clients (Fortune 1000). Experience in sales or sales support a plus.
• 2+ years in highly-quantitative role focusing on analysis and interpretation of data
• 2+ years in a people-management position of 6 or more direct reports

Went up to Surprise and Glacier Lakes this Saturday. They are just to the west of Stevens pass. Lots of people going up for the weekend. Plenty of great scenery and flowers.

 I proposed to my wife at Sunset Beach on the Oregon coast. You can drive from Seaside north for several miles on the beach! It's pretty deserted and the views as the sunsets over the pacific are amazing. Even in the winter it makes for a nice trip as you can stay in the car to see the view.When looking this up I also noticed that it's now part of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Park. We usually try to make a trip over to the coast when we are in Portland. Here are some pictures from a few months ago. (If you are ever in Seaside stop by Bigfoot on the south side of town. Great Micro-Brews and steaks with a cheesy bigfoot statue)
